The Cline Family

Rhett Cline helped on his parent’s poultry farm for as long as he can remember but independently took over Pine Grove Farm 2 years ago, growing for Farmer Focus. While Rhett handles the main tending of the birds, his wife Alayna helps maintain the farm and does all the bookwork. Getting ready for chicks and unloading birds is usually a family affair, where Rhett’s parents and siblings usually show up to help. Even their one-year-old son Sawyer enjoys being involved!

The Clines follow a nutrient management plan and pull PSNT samples for commercial fertilizer, maintaining the land as best they can. “Bird health is top priority. Every day I watch the birds to see what adjustments need to be made as far as water, temperature and ventilation to ensure the birds are happy and never have a bad day as long as they are in our care,” says Rhett.
