The White Family
Todd White of TABS Enterprises grew up with poultry-his dad grew for Wampler-Longacre. In 2013 they converted to chicken, expanding and growing for Pilgrim's. Todd and his wife oversee the daily operations. His dad still helps to get the houses ready for new birds. His kids also help as needed.
The Whites have two litter sheds for composting and litter storage. They fenced their cattle out of Smith Creek and have a DEQ nutrient management plan to apply litter to their fields.
Biosecurity is standard on the White farm, and each day they strive to provide the best environment for bird health and welfare.
Todd says growing poultry allows, "the ability to carry on a family farming tradition, and to work with my wife daily." He also says he enjoys the "satisfaction of feeding America."
