The Botkin Family

Alex Botkin has been involved with growing poultry since he was a teenager on his dad's farm. Currently, he has been growing for Pilgrim's since 2012. While Alex does the main work, his daughters do all the mowing, and his dad still helps with clean-out and set-up for new birds.

It's important to Alex to keep things clean around the houses and make sure litter is not spilled anywhere. He works to keep all the weeds killed in the gravel areas and grass cut regularly.

Alex says, "My greatest pleasure is working for myself on land that was purchased by my great grandad that has been passed down to each generation and continuing to farm the land."
